Plasma Cutter

The Plasma Cutter is a piece of equipment used to cut the different pieces of the ducts. By pieces we refer to the Transformations, Reductions, Deviations, Derivations in Y, Boots or Shoes, Non-Standard Ducts, Elbows, Round Square, etc.

This is the Process :

1. Identify all the parts with the quantities of the project that you want to manufacture, either because the information is provided by the client at the time you share the list of the parts that need to be manufactured or because we carry out the Project.

2. We generate each piece of duct on its 4 faces in a special program to manufacture Air Conditioning parts, in order to be able to have all the dimensions (width, height, length, deviation, etc.) and type of closure that are be used on each piece, call it Snap Lock or Pittsburgh.

3. Once we have all the pieces generated in the program, we select the dimension of the sheet (cutting table) that will be used to make the cuts of the different pieces of the project.

4. The complete program is loaded with all the ducts (its 4 faces) on the cutting table. As the pieces are loaded, the program arranges them in such a way that they are grouped on different cutting tables, in order to make the most of each sheet and obtain the least waste on each cutting table. court.

5. Once the program tells us how many cutting tables or sheet plates are required for the manufacture of all the pieces, we proceed to go to the IOWA to make the cuts of these sheet plates that the program indicates.

6. The cutting tables are entered into the Plasma PC for it to read or recognize.

7. You are ready to place the IOWA cut sheet on the Plasma cutting table and set the cutting torch to the cut start position.

8. Once everything is in position, proceed with the cutting of each cutting sheet with the Plasma.

9. Once the cut is finished on each cutting table, all the cut faces are identified with an individual code per piece, so that each one goes to the next stage of the manufacturing process.

10. When each face ends in its manufacturing stage, they will be grouped again thanks to the code with which they were identified and thus the duct part can be assembled without error.

11. This process is repeated for each cutting table.
