It is a high quality gray tape that comes on soft silicone paper, it is designed to be used with rectangular duct connection systems type TDC or TDF (coupling by 4 screws).

It adheres extremely well to metal surfaces.

This must be placed in normal dry working conditions.

All surfaces must be free of dust, dirt, oil, moisture, grease, etc.

Applies straight from roll or can be cut to size with utility knife or scissors; once the tape is placed on the perimeter of one of the ducts, the silicone paper must be gently removed, leaving the tape exposed so that it can make contact with the other duct for its union.

At the time of coupling both ducts, it must be verified that the 4 corners are aligned so that the screws can be installed easily.

As the screws are adjusted, both ducts begin to join causing the Butylo Tape to be pressed and it works as a hermetic seal, preventing the air that circulates inside from escaping.

It is recommended that this tape be placed at the time of coupling between both ducts, leaving the tape exposed in the duct for a long time can cause it to become contaminated and present problems with the seal, allowing air to escape in the duct .
